Organizational Chart & Leadership Opportunities
The structure of this organization is designed to offer members support that will assist them in developing independent autonomous activities in a variety of levels that will aid in the spiritual and professional life.
I. Board of Directors*
- Consists of the Executive Committee, Spiritual Advisor, and other General Members as the Board.
- Responsibilities to include meeting once per year at annual meeting, approving budget & dues, and electing officers. Term- four years.
II. Executive Committee
Consists of President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Responsibilities include meeting by teleconference every quarter to discuss policy, programs, and operations.
III. Executive Director
The Board of Directors share in the responsibilities of an E. D. includes managing daily operations; preparing all reports for Executive Committee members.
IV. Advisory Board
Consists of Catholic and non-Catholic professionals as needed. Responsibilities include providing expert knowledge and guidance to the AFCC as needed. Term - One-year-renewable.

I. International
The AFCC looks to obtain representatives from and to the WFC, PCPAHCW, FIAMC, Missions, etc.
II. Profession Wide
The AFCC looks for representatives from such associations as the Association of Chiropractic Colleges who will be members of the AFCC.
Responsibilities: act as liaisons to coordinate information and to provide leadership in their organizations. To promote the programs and ethical ideals of the AFCC and coordinate information between the AFCC's Executive Committee and their organizations. Time commitment: Varies: Conference with President or Report before and after each convention. Needs e-mail
III. National
The AFCC looks to have National Associations* National Representatives for Country National chiropractic associations.
Responsibilities: shall coordinate information between the President and the AFCC's Executive Committee, with leaders or members of their national association, the Vatican's representatives who are responsible for pastoral care to health care workers in that country, and their country's AFCC's state or regional representatives.
Time Commitment: Varies, need e-mail
IV. State or Regional*
The AFCC looks to have State or Regional Representatives who are also members of their state or regional chiropractic associations, to act as liaisons and coordinate information between the ACC with their State's) Chiropractic Association's) and local diocesan representatives.
Responsibilities: Assist in notifying and gathering Catholic members for a liturgical celebration during the state conventions. Assist in helping promote the AFCC by obtaining press releases and article space in all state publications. Help to promote work of local diocesan representatives and members at large at the state level. Assist in coordinating the sponsored Retreats with the AFCC and their local diocesan representatives, spiritual directors, and retreat houses.
Time Commitment: 1-2 x years for state conventions. 1x year for Retreats in their state.
V. Diocesan Chapter Representatives*
The AFCC looks to have Diocesan Chapter Representatives who will provide leadership to coordinate information from and between the AFCC and their state representative, and with AFCC 's members of that local diocese, their local bishop, Catholic institutions and programs. The AFCC will provide the support, info, and protocols to the Diocesan Chapter Representative to help establish local contacts.
Responsibility: Introduce chiropractic to local bishop and the catholic health institutions Communicate with other local Catholic health care associations or individuals Coordinate activities of local chapter with other guilds Manage public relations and local press releases to diocesan and secular papers Develop contact with local charity programs. Attend White Masses of their local diocese. Assist in bringing new members from their diocese and notify members of retreats.
Time commitment:
This level of representatives can be as intensive and as active as desired for the individual and any local diocese chapter members. There is much that can be done to promote chiropractic to the already existing Catholic programs by the diocese or through religious institutes in their area.
VI. Student Chapters*
The AFCC looks to have Catholic Chiropractic members as representatives who will be assisted by the AFCC to establish contact with the local parish near their college campus or local ordinary to establish communications for pastoral care from the their bishop for spiritual advisor.
Responsibilities: Obtain an instructor advisor or local parish religious. Coordinate a Mass at beginning or end of school year.
Projects: Work with one of the local Catholic Charities on a rotating basis to allow for study time. Consider sponsoring with other college groups a charitable program on campus. Retreat - help all to attend state retreats or sponsor a day of retreat for students.
